We are declaring the Eterium Preview Alpha. Expect a release of the preview beta in January! The Eterium Preview will be comprised of missions 1, 2, 4 and 5 from the first chapter. We intend the preview to both give you a taste of the game and assist us in our QA process to ensure that Eterium will run on the widest range of computers and setups as possible.
A new programmer, Eric Duhon, has joined our team. He has been hard at working bringing Nvidia 3D Vision support to Eterium! We’ve got a few screenshots for you today. If you have a 3D display and Nvidia 3D Vision (or capability of viewing JPS files) you can download the JPS files below. Otherwise, here are (scaled down) side by side jpegs. If you diverge your eyes so the two images join together into one you can get a sense of the 3D.3D JPS File
I’ve posted a new Eterium trailer, check it out:
A new artist, David, has joined the Eterium team! For the last few months, David and I have been reviewing the existing concept art and discussing how we can make the game look better. Some of the assets are starting to reach the final stage and will be appearing in media and screenshots soon.
Eterium is an indie developed space flight sim game in the spirit of Wing Commander. The game has been in development for a while and is nearing completion. I have started this blog to keep people up to date on our progress as we finish off this game. Stay tuned for more updates!
